than to have to cry on your casket
I want you to take my hand now
and I hope that you never let go
whisper to me all the things you want to
I'll listen to you until I'm dead and gone

cry on me
just let me see
tell me how you feel
let me know you're real
let me put my arms around you
and let you feel something new

don't try to cut away your life
I won't let you use the knife
don't poison your life away
I need you with me everyday
I know there's nothing I can say
but I need you to stay

I want you to cry on my shoulder
I just want her to let me hold her
I won't let you get any colder
I just wish these things I'd told her

I dont care if it rhymes or not. its wasnt meant to. This was written for my baby Mariann. if ever u need a shoulder to cry i will be there for u babe. just please take my hand and dont let go. u have so much potential and i know that one day u will make sumthing of urself and then u can throw it back in all those peoples faces that dont care about u and think u wont make it anywhere. just stay here with me.
